JInitiator is a Windows-based Java Virtual Machine (JVM) developed by Oracle that runs as a plug-in for Netscape and as an ActiveX component for Internet Explorer. JInitiator allows you to run Java applets (such as Internet Native Banner, or INB) on Windows clients. JInitiator also implements JAR file caching which reduces application startup time.
There are specific system and browser requirements for Internet Native Banner (INB).
To request access to the instance of Banner you want to use:
Your Banner/Warehouse ID is used to log on to administrative systems such as the Internet Native Banner (INB) and the Data Warehouse.
The ACC distribution program is a computer replacement program funded by SCHEV to provide desktop or laptop replacement machines for departments funded by E&G funding (Educational and General--208). These machines must support Educational and General programs, and employees must be E&G funded and provide administrative support to the electronic administration systems. The program is renewed on a yearly basis, dependent on funding.
